While this class spans across a wide range of ages and maturities, the elders felt it important to group all bible students from grades 6 through 12 together to encourage unity and provide an opportunity to strengthen relationships within the ARMY (Augusta Road Ministry for Youth). The teen class dives deep into challenging issues facing the church and their daily lives. Among the topics these students will study are christian evidences and how to defend their faith, where the church began and how to answer questions such as “what kind of church do you go to?”. As the last stop before many depart for college, we aim to prepare them to stand on their own faith and remain true to God. Interaction and discussion are the bedrock of this class, and everyone has an equal voice. As it is their class, teachers will listen to what they are interested in, and through collaboration with our youth deacon and elders, we are able to provide relevant and quality quarterly studies.
