Road trips, music, cookouts – the works! This being our first year at Makin’ Music, we plan to set the bar high.
With 15 people attending, we have a full schedule including campus tours, attending a Bible class with the dean of Biblical Studies, Billy Smith, dinner at the local burger restaurant, Bells and even venturing out to an escape room for the first time! While Makin’ Music is the primary reason we are visiting, we’ll be participating in other activities the university and town have to offer. Read on to find out more!
Bell’s
Bell’s is known obviously for the hamburgers, but it’s a great affordable place for students to enjoy a nice meal. You’ll always find someone you know at Bell’s.
Intrigue
Escape rooms are the latest in engaging and interactive entertainment. Instead of going to the movies, we will be working together solving puzzles as we try and escape Jackson’s ‘Intrigue’ room in 45 minutes or less. This is bound to be an exciting and interesting Friday night.
Cookout
Saturday afternoon will be spent grilling hot dogs, playing catch phrase, throwing football, and just enjoying God’s creation. This state park offers a great space to enjoy each others company and strengthen bonds while growing closer to God
